Get to know us
As a child, my mom owned a small yarn shop and was a prolific knitter, something she has passed onto me. I am now based in a very rural part of the North Pennines, in Cumbria and am surrounded by sheep, which has made me even more passionate about the use of British Wool, which comes through in my spinning, knitting & crochet workshops. I have even graced our TV screens twice - once as part of a segment promoting British Wool on Joe Lycett's "Got Your Back" and then teaching Robson Green to spin on his BBC2 "Weekend Escapes" programme.
I now have over 40 years experience in knitting, and design my own knitting patterns.
I have completed the comprehensive technical editing course, run by the experienced and renowned Carol Ibbotson. I am also a member of the Knitting & Crochet Guild. So I can help other designers ensure that their patterns are the best that they can be. Please see JW Creative Review Services for further information on how technical editing can help you.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements further or if you have any questions about my services.
